About Me | My Vision | My Passion

I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and later as an adult moved to the Dallas, Texas area.

I have experimented with makeup and trends of clothing and makeup through the years from various forums, sources and magazines.

I have had the pleasure of working for various cosmetic companies or counters such as Mary Kay Cosmetics, Nordstrom Cosmetics MAC counter and MAC cosmetics store. The training I received through these companies has benefited me greatly through the years.

I love being a makeup artist.

MY VISION

VISION: The act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be.

Most of us have at some point in our lives seen a person or picture of someone in a magazine with a particular look that we would like to duplicate to become our own.

Not always an easy task to achieve, right?

We each are created with our own unique personality, outward appearance and talents. We are all very different one from the other.

My vision as a makeup artist is to enhance individual qualities and create a look my client will feel beautiful and comfortable with. The look can be a soft beauty look or a very exotic bold look. With makeup the possibilities are endless.

Makeup needs to cater to the lifestyle of a person or the occasion at hand.

My desire is to educate and teach my clients to use their own creativity with their look at home.

MY PASSION

PASSION: A strong or extravagant fondness or desire.

Makeup can be your signature. It can express who you are or make you feel like someone else…or take you to another place, time or era. Makeup has the ability to change the way you feel or your mood.

I always like to keep in mind that at the end of the day when the makeup comes off, I am still the same person. Still me.

That is where my passion comes into play.

Outer beauty without inner beauty is incomplete. To have both we need to make a conscience effort on a daily basis as to what we can do each day to build good character within ourselves. As with skincare, if we do this every day without fail it becomes a habit. Cleansing and maintaining and protecting inside and out. After time a habit will become a lifestyle. People are drawn to those with inner beauty.

Concerning outward beauty we need to cleanse, moisturize, hydrate and protect our skin. Make this a habit and it will become a lifestyle. The payoff is well worth the effort.
